Note: Some students might be familiar with small scale farming versus large-scale intensive livestock operations. The emphasis of Noah¨s Ark Today for this age group is simply celebrating the wonder of rare breed farm animals, so that students might connect with them emotionally and come to value them. Perhaps later a student will be interested in understanding more about farming practices. If the topic comes up, explain to students that the care of animals varies greatly depending on the size and kind of farm where the animal lives.
