Field Trip: food, services, products and replacements. Activity: Expert teams interview farmers on topics. Home teams gather and exchange what they learned.

Expand:

Home Team Species Reports: on farm animal/plant/human Supplemental Slide set 2: breeds – unique traits Interrelationships: jobs, services, replacements, and diets. Compare their farm species with another species.

Evaluate:

Restaurant Game and TenSpecies.pdf: individuals or small groups record 2-3 jobs/products provided by each animal.

 

Supplementary Activities:

Create a bulletin board web, using samples of food gathered at the farm to demonstrate the interrelationships of plants, animals and people.
