Mountain Niche Farm is offering 3 ply knitting yarn, spun at StoneHedge Fiber Mill in MI for a lofty lovely knitting experience. Available in white, tan, dark brown and charcoal. Skeins in the colors are 4 oz and about 80 yards. White is in bulk skeins but can be skeined off for more accurate put-up. Some space dyed skeins offered as well. Currently spaced dyed orange is available.
Yarn knits up well on size 10 needles and the sample shown in a Vivian Hoxbro mitred corner pattern.
10 skeins ( 5 ea of 2 colors) will create 4 panels of 5X5 boxes (casting on 25 stitches) for the Vivian Hoxbro Pattern, taken from the Knit to be Square book. Instructions included. Each square will cover a 20″X20″ Pillow insert. So, 10 skeins will cover 2 pillows for your natural decor.
