Come learn about heritage breeds and heirloom seeds at the 2013 American Livestock Breeds Conservancy National Conference. The conference returns to beautiful North Carolina this year, just down the road from the ALBC national headquarters. Join us as we partner with Seed Savers Exchange and other farmers, stewards, historians, agriculturalists, foodies, environmentalists, and conservationists, as we convene in Cary, North Carolina, November 8-9, 2013.

This year’s ALBC National Conference will be held in Cary, North Carolina (just 5 minutes from the North Carolina capital city of Raleigh). Raleigh ranks in the top 5 greenest cities in the U.S. and the Research Triangle area of North Carolina is home to one of the largest collections of small farms and heritage breeds in the country. Come early or take time after the conference to visit North Carolina’s majestic Blue Ridge Mountains or scenic beaches, coastal towns, and lighthouses. The Research Triangle has a plethora of tourist opportunities, from major research universities, to world-class museums, to area historical sites – an exciting experience is definitely in store for you!
